Wake Forest Fan Fest. Gates at 5 p.m. Teams introduced at 6 p.m. Demon Deacon fans are invited out to BB&T Field to celebrate all the fall sports at Wake Forest University. Interactive games for kids and food vendors will also be available, and fans will have the chance to purchase season tickets and choose their seats. Free. Meridian Seafood Festival.
Noon–10 p.m. This third-annual event is back and better than ever. NC seafood will be served fresh all day while live music fills the air. Carolina Summer Music Festival. This third-annual event will feature 25 local musicians playing in seven unique concerts of jazz, classical, and contemporary chamber music.
