Family First Workshop. 2 p.m. Using the art of William Christenberry as inspiration, this workshop will let participants create their own three-dimensional building out of found materials. RiverRun International Film Festival. The 12th annual RiverRun International Film Festival is expanding to two weekends this year. The Hospice Hope Run. Registration at 7 a.m. First run at 8:30 a.m. This 10k Run and 5k Fitness Walk benefits Hospice & Palliative Care Center. Also includes a Deacon Dash for children 8 and under. Empty Bowls. 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Second Harvest Food Bank’s signature fundraising event, Empty Bowls is a unique luncheon fundraiser and art display.
